Rouergue
Ramonage
A redesign for a chimney sweep in western Aveyron.

1. Background
Rouergue Ramonage is a family-run chimney sweeping business based in western Aveyron, working out of Rignac. Its old WordPress site reflected neither the quality of the work nor the image of the company its customers already know from its van.
2. The challenge
Replace the WordPress site with something fast and clear, built for the phone. In practice, it had to:
- Show prices straight away, with no form to fill in to get them
- Reassure: insurance, a sweeping certificate handed over at the end of the job, Google reviews
- Make it effortless to call or request a call back
- Rank on Google in every town in the area, before the heating season
3. The solution
A site built from the ground up with Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. The art direction picks up the livery of the tradesman's van: magenta, silver, violet and the Occitan cross as a motif.
Four services clearly laid out (chimney sweeping, pellet stoves, roof cleaning, air conditioning cleaning), a published price list, an FAQ on the legal sweeping requirement, and a dedicated page for each of the 13 towns in the area, each with its own content. Full local SEO: per-page metadata, sitemap, structured data. Delivered in two weeks.
4. The outcome
PageSpeed Insights test (Lighthouse 13.5.0) run on October 13, 2026, on the home page: 98 for Performance on mobile (Moto G Power emulation, slow 4G) and 100 on desktop, 100 for Accessibility, 100 for Best Practices and 100 for SEO on both. LCP measured at 2.4 s on mobile and 0.5 s on desktop, with no layout shift (CLS of 0).
Lab measurements: the site is too recent to have real-user data. It is live at rouergue-ramonage.com.
